2022 ist das Jahr der Europäischen Jugend. Junge Menschen können zeigen, worauf es ihnen ankommt, was sie sich wünschen und welche Herausforderungen sie sehen. Daher laden wir euch im Mai wieder zum Young BarCamp ein, bei dem junge Menschen online zusammenkommen, um sich europaweit auszutauschen.

Young people of Europe, please be invited to the online event „Young BarCamp: EU’ll love it!“ on the 9th of May.
With corona making it hard to travel or to do school exchanges, Young BarCamp offers a chance to meet across boarders without getting on a plane. There is no ready conference program. Instead there is time and space for your topics, questions and creativity. Whatever you are interested in, it’s worth making a session about!
2022 is the European “year of youth“. So team up and join! We sure have stuff to talk about!
You don’t know BarCamp yet? Then find everything you need to know here , including a short video explaining what a barcamp is.
Up to 10 young persons (ca. 15-21 years old) per school or youth organisation can register to participate in the event – free of cost. We ask each group to come up with at least one proposal for a “session” that they would like to host at the event in May.
A session is up to 45 minutes long and can be something like a workshop, a debate or a creative program. You set the topic! What do you want to ask your peers from other countries? What do you want to discuss with them? You can show a film clip, call a parliamentarian, do a poetry slam!
The working language for the Young BarCamp will be English.
To register for the event, please send us an e-mail and tell us what school or group you are from and how many of you would like to join. We offer online-meetings in advance to answer questions, test zoom and other online-tools and to advice you on your session concept.
