Northumberland Scouts presents\u2026 #CampAtHome<\/h3>\n#CampAtHome has reached a global <\/strong>scale! With over 50,000 people registered to join in with the World Record Attempt on the 30th April!<\/h4>\n#VirtuallyCamping<\/strong><\/h3>\nHere are the \u201cRules\u201d<\/strong>. We\u2019re asking you all\u2026\u2026 Hedgehogs, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network, Guides, CadetsX Leaders, Parents, and all Young People interested in joining in the fun to:<\/p>\n\u2013 Pack a bag
\n\u2013 Build a den at home \/ pitch a tent in the garden\/ hang up a hammock (whatever you can)
\n\u2013 Sleep in your shelter of choice
\n\u2013 Build a \u2018campfire\u2019 (real or virtual)
\n\u2013 Take part in a \u201cScouty activity\u201d
\n\u2013 Help with cooking a meal<\/p>\n
MOST IMPORTANTLY\u2026\u2026. Each night you participate share a creative photo, video, blog, etc. to our social media with:<\/p>\n

\n\u2013 Instagram: @Northumberland_Scouts <\/a><\/p>\nThen share them with your leaders and friends to show that although we can\u2019t meet \u201cFace to Face\u201d Scouting doesn\u2019t stop!<\/strong><\/p>\nEach Young Person who takes part will be entitled to 1 Night Away for each night they participate (as long as they aren\u2019t sleeping in their bed). Meaning you could get up to an extra 30 Nights Away if you take on the challenge!<\/p>\n
Everyone who participates will also get a virtual certificate for joining in, we will also be awarding special virtual certificates for those that manage the full month. Additionally, if you take part on 30\/04\/20 and we get enough participants you\u2019ll be part of setting a world record!<\/p>\n
We will also be releasing a badge, necker, and t-shirt that will be available to everyone who takes part.<\/p>\n
